Teacher burnout

Correlates and consequences of burnout in Australian school teachers

You are invited to take part in this study. The aim of this study is to explore some of the correlates of burnout and to determine what role they play in turnover intentions and wellbeing. We are inviting current primary and secondary school teachers to participate in an anonymous online 20 minute survey.

All current primary and secondary teachers in Australia are being invited to participate in this national study. It is well accepted that teaching is a career with elevated levels of stress and burnout. We would like to know what may help reduce these levels.

This study is being conducted as part of Ph D research at Monash University. It has been approved by Monash University Human Research Ethics (Project Number: 8487).
